WEST BATH — Selectmen will put the question to voters on Jan. 21, 2014: Do you want to pull out of Regional School Unit 1?
The Board of Selectmen set the date at a meeting earlier this week. A public hearing will be held at West Bath Elementary School 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6.
The town also is suing RSU 1 to recover $1.9 million it says it overpaid the district in cost-sharing fees in the first four years of the school district’s existence.
