
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Palmer Berry. Mother of five children, Richard Berry and his wife Lamyong of Cundy’s Harbor, ME and Bangkok, Thailand; Nadine Berry O’Toole and her husband John of Coral Springs, FL; Thomasin Berry and her husband Jack Desmond of Marion, MA; Elissa Berry and her husband Roy Knight of Acton, MA; Angela Berry-Koch and her husband Cristian Koch of Brasilia, Brazil; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, the oldest of the six children of John and Ruah MacNeil of Newton and Marion, MA. She leaves two sisters, Margery Dearborn of Worcester, MA and Barbara Fuller of Marion, MA. She was predeceased by her brother John MacNeil and sisters Janice
Mendes and Marcia
Chapman.
A graduate of Connecticut College with a major in English, she declined acceptance to Johns Hopkins University graduate school to start her family. She was an avid reader, gardener, gourmet cook, community volunteer, and world traveler.
