NORTON, Mass. — Senior forward Sarah Fitzgerald scored eight points as the Wheaton College women’s basketball team rolled to an 88-48 win over Yeshiva University on Wednesday.
Every Wheaton player scored at least two points in the win, while Yeshiva’s Rebecca Yoshor tallied a game-high 22 points in the loss.
The Lyons jumped out to a 45-21 halftime lead. Wheaton shot 50.6-percent from the floor and outrebounded Yeshiva 52-35.
Wheaton is 9-0 and opens its second half schedule on Jan. 2 at home against Roger Williams.
