Navy Seaman Apprentice Cory A. Bryan, son of Melanie Perkins of Brunswick, was recently promoted to his current rank upon graduation from Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Bryan received the early promotion for outstanding performance during training. He is a 2010 graduate of Brunswick High School.

Army Pvt. Joseph A. Palanza has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Palanza is the son of Jan and stepson of William Reid of Germantown, Tenn. He is a 2006 graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School.
