Local author Milena Banks will speak about and sign copies of her book “Riding the Tiger” during a “Meet the Author” event. Banks’ debut novel, which chronicles multiple generations of interconnected lives in Hong Kong and China’s colonial legacy, was voted one of the top five best self-published books of 2013 by Kirkus Review.
