Outdoor writer George Smith, an award-winning newspaper columnist, television show host and former executive director of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, will talk about his new book, “A Life Lived Outdoors,” at a Brown Bag Lecture. From laugh-out-loud funny to deeply poignant, Smith’s book presents a collection of hand-picked essays that explore the way life should be, could be and sometimes is in the great state of Maine.
