John Carroll of CMP seemed to speak for our intersts but he is actually under the control of a Spain-based global energy conglomerate. He spoke about old ladies eating cat food as he defended the corporate greed of his organization. That pretty much reveals the lack of empathy to us Mainers and our use of solar power. This same attitude is shown in the village where I once lived. Recently Ralcorp purchased the local Carriage House food company. Within two years Ralcorp sold the holdings to ConAgra for $5 billion. All activities will be moved out of state resulting in the loss of 425 jobs between now and March 2015. This is an extreme example of the corporate greed destroying the very fabric of our society.
