BATH — The BIW picked up a Cal Ripken baseball playoff win in recent action.
On Monday, BIW blanked Wilson’s Drug Store 10-0.
Gabe Aucoin led with two hits, while Lucas Quimby, Tom Guild and Ty Knowlton each had a hit. Pitching for BIW were Aucoin and Sawyer Stead with five strikeouts each. Catching was Tom Guild and Dylan Potter.
Chase Nicolino had a hit for Wilson’s. Pitching for them were Caleb Sommers, Chase Nicolino and Jansen Morrison with a combined five strikeouts. Catching for Wilson’s was Elliot Harkins.
On Saturday, BIW got past Montsweag Road House, 14- 5.
Guild and Aucoin both had three hits each, while Wyatt Wallace, Kaleb McPhail and Kiernan Mann chipped in with a hit each.
Pitching for BIW were Knowlton, Wallace and Kyle Fredricks with a combined 11 strikeouts. Catchers were Potter, McPhail and Guild.
Dominic Hood and Ethan Reno each had a hit for Montsweag. Pitching were Aiden Wyman and Robin Krull with a combined eight strikeouts. Catchers were Brandon Andrew and Andrew Card.
