I wanted to thank everyone for coming out voting to support my candidacy for MSAD 6 School Board Director and passing the 2014-2015 School Budget! I have enjoyed working on MSAD6 School Board, District Budget Committee, Finance Committee and Budget Advisory Committee.

With the creation of the Budget Advisory Committee, I have seen firsthand its impact of people coming together to form our school budget. It shows that parents, staff, students, administration and town officials can work together with school board. By working together during the tough times we are seeing in our communities, we can build a solid, balanced budget that meets our students’ needs.

As an experienced candidate, I can honestly say that this year’s campaign has been a personally daunting one with some difficult moments. As a newly re-elected school board director, one of the issues I am going to work toward is a school board member code of conduct with the hopes that our members will be role models and examples to our students and community.
