ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) — Two Vermont State Troopers involved in the shooting of a man in Barton last month have returned to work.
Sgt. Denis Girouard and Tpr. Seth Loomis were placed on administrative leave with pay following the shooting on May 28.
The Caledonian Record reports state police are still investigating the shooting and the case will be reviewed by the state attorney general’s office and the Orleans County State’s Attorney’s Office.
