BIDDEFORD — Lisa Geyer, a 28-year employee of Community Partners, Inc., was awarded the Direct Support Professional Excellence in Care Award at a statewide conference in Portland honoring direct support professionals.

“Lisa was chosen from a pool of many nominations submitted by 13 different Maine agencies, in recognition of her commitment to respectful and enduring relationships,” said her supervisor, Doug Watson.

The conference theme, “Making Changes Together ”“ Making a World of Difference,” recognized direct support professionals for the significant differences they make in the lives of people they support.
