
He was employed for over 25 years as a welder at Bath Iron Works in Bath.
David enjoyed boating and fishing, both in Maine, as well as on trips to Florida.
David was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Elaine (Allen) Hartill; a son David Hartill Jr.; three sisters, Ruth Marks, Jessie Leitmer and Mary Lipovsky; and two brothers, Robert and Donald Hartill.
Survivors include his son, Clayton and his wife Dawn Hartill of Woolwich and a sister Ruth Marks of Largo, FL.
Services will be private. Interment will be in Bayview Cemetery in Bowdoinham. Should friends and family desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of David Jefferson Hartill.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home in Brunswick.
