BETHLEHEM, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire’s new fire academy is being named for its longest-serving member of the Executive Council.
The Raymond S. Burton North Country Fire and EMS Training Facility in Bethlehem is scheduled for a dedication Friday and an open house on Saturday.
The Caledonian Record reports the academy is the second one in New Hampshire; the other is in Concord. For more than a year, volunteers have donated their time and skills to remake the former Forest Service complex.
