BATH — The Morse High School girls soccer team handed Camden Hills its first loss with a come-frombehind 2-1 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win on Tuesday.
The Windjammers jumped on top 1-0 with 10 minutes remaining in the first half, with Bryn Anderson putting a rebound past Shipbuilders netminder Alesha Aucoin, who had 15 saves.
The Shipbuilders began to find their rhythm as the second half unfolded. They began to take charge of the 50/50 balls, which paid off in 25th minute. Sierra Wallace played a throughball to Brianna Williams, who slipped a shot past the Camden Hills goaltender to tie the game.
Morse took over the midfield, and with 13 minutes remaining Amanda Gagne carried the ball toward the Camden Hills goal. She passed off to Aubrey Martin, whose low shot was stopped. Miracle Trimble gained control of the rebound and scored the game-winning goal as the Shipbuilders improved to 4-2 and host Erskine Academy on Friday at 7 p.m.

Torri Pelletier scored early in the second half as the host Eagles defeated Cony in a KVAC contest at Topsham.
The Eagles improved to 3- 2-1 and host Bangor on Thursday (6 p.m.).
Nikki Bradstreet sent a cross that Pelletier redirected into the cage, the only goal to beat Rams goaltender Autumn Sudsbury, who had 23 saves.
Kate Guerin and Lauren Williams combined on two saves for Mt. Ararat.

Olivia Paione scored the game-winning goal late in the first half as the Red Eddies held off the hardcharging Dragons at Auburn in KVAC action.
Lauren Berube opened the scoring for the hosts, and Paione’s goal staked Edward Little (5-0-1) to a 2-0 halftime lead.
Brunswick pushed back in the second half, with Kira Wolpow scoring midway through the frame.
Molly Murray had six saves in the win.
Brunswick is scheduled to host Skowhegan on Friday (3:30 p.m.).

Julia Quinn scored the game-winning goal 1:15 into the second half as Fryeburg Academy (2-2-2) slipped past Freeport, which fell to 1-5 in the Western Maine Conference and visits Greely on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Mackenzie Buzzell set up Quinn’s winning goal.
Izzy Qualls turned aside seven shots for Freeport, while Makayla Cooper had five saves for the Raiders.

The host Bobcats jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead and cruised to an East-West Conference win over the Bucks.
Meranda Martin scored two first-half goals, with Destiny Anair and Amber Loon adding one goal each. Loon and Kelsea Anair added one goal each in the second half. Camryn Hurley and Sara Wright had one assist each.
Brianna Dorran and Kadi Litchfield scored a goal apiece for Buckfield (2-2-1).
Richmond, 6-0 and slated to visit Old Orchard Beach this upcoming Tuesday, received four saves from Kelsie Obi.
Olivia Dooley turned aside 13 shots for Buckfield.
