In “Summer Changes,” an exhibition of his landscape paintings, Mark Johnson explores how the changing weather, winds, tides and moon cycles transform southern Maine into “a world in constant motion.” The show, including “Sunset,” is on view to Nov. 2 at Cia Cafe and Gallery, 72 Ocean St., South Portland. Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Johnson will discuss his work at an artist’s reception, Friday, Oct. 10, from 5-7 p.m.
