TOPSHAM — The deadline to sign-up for Topsham Parks and Recreation youth basketball is Nov. 3.
Practices are slated to begin the week of Nov. 17, with the first games on Dec. 6.
The Rec. office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There are a limited number of team sponsorships available. Call 725-1726 for more information.
Mt. Ararat High School will be offering Open Gym hours beginning on Nov. 2 through the end of March.
Open Gym,, held on Sundays and a cost of $1 per person, is for School Administration District 75 residents only. Family Open Gym runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with adults only play from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Children under fifth grade must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants are asked to use the back side entrance for access to the gym.
