CAPE ELIZABETH – Jean Morrison Quinn, 86, of South Portland, died Nov. 11 at Cape Memory Care after a lengthy illness.

Quinn was born Aug. 16, 1928, in South Portland, the eldest daughter of Grover and Ida MacDonald Morrison. She attended South Portland schools and was a past member of South Portland Church of the Nazarene. Since the death of her husband, Robert O. Quinn, in 2008, she had been a resident of Betsy Ross House in South Portland.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three siblings, Grover Morrison, Peter Morrison and Frances Spofford.

Survivors include a brother, Norman Morrison and wife, Madeleine of Saco; three sisters, Patricia Schussler and husband, Fred, of South Portland, Sally Weed and husband, Ben, of Huntington Beach, California, and Wanda Morrison and husband, David Langzettel, of Scarborough; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jodi Arsenault, of South Portland.

A funeral was held Monday at Hobbs Funeral Home, in South Portland, with the Rev. Stanley Ross, Jean’s former pastor, officiating. Interment followed at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.

Quinn family members wish to thank the staff of Cape Memory Care for their attentiveness to her.
