ST. GEORGE — Registration is now open for the fifth annual half-marathon race set for Sunday at Blueberry Cove Camp in Tenants Harbor.
Proceeds of the race will benefit Blueberry Cove which is a University of Maine Cooperative Extention camp, sister to Tanglewood 4H Camp and Learning Center in Loncolville.
The course will begin and end at the camp and will include a blueberry-themed brunch.
The race has reached a capacity of 250 runners, so act fast! A pre-race local-foods dinner with music and a bonfire will take place Saturday evening, while overnight cabin accomidations will be available so runners and their families can wake up at the starting line. Children are welcome whether it is to run, volunteer or enjoy the 25-acre waterfront camp.
