A Lunch & Learn, “Traversing the Gaspé,” will be offered Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 12-1 p.m. at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. Tin Smith will recount his ski across the Gaspésie, a peninsula along the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. Hear about the challenges and breathtaking scenery he encountered on a 100-plus-mile trek over mountains, plateaus and sea ice. Cost is $2. Friday, Dec. 12

The New School in Kennebunk is hosting a brick oven pizza night on Friday, Dec. 12 from 5-7 p.m. Whole pizzas will be $12; slices $2. The event is a fundraiser for students’ intensive studies. Saturday, Dec. 13

The Rebecca Emery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be meeting on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at 33 Longwood Drive in Kennebunk. Members are encouraged to attend and are asked to bring clothing items for veterans for Christmas, which will be delivered to the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. The Kennebunkport Bell Ringers will perform “A Garland of Caros” at the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. The mix of seasonal favorites will take place by a warm fire. Light refreshments will be served.
