The Portland Blood Donation Center, 524 Forest Ave., Portland, is generally open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The donation center at Central Maine Medical Center, 300 Main St., Lewiston, is usually open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Saturday and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. To schedule an appointment, call 800-RED-CROSS or go to redcrossblood.org.
