BIDDEFORD — The West Brook ice rink is open for the season today.
The outdoor skating rink, which welcomes pick-up hockey players and figure skaters alike, will be open Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m., Thursdays from 3-8 p.m., Fridays from 3-9 p.m., Saturdays from 12-5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the remainder of the winter season, as weather permits.
Admission is $3.50 on weekdays and $4 on the weekend. Skate rentals are also available for $4.
On Saturday evenings from 6-9 p.m., the rink holds fundraising events. The first of the new year will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Columbian Squires Circle No. 4809, which is the city’s official youth program of the Knights of Columbus.
