Skaters were out on the ice at Carle’s Corner Ice Rink in Waterboro Saturday. Building the outdoor rink, on the Taylor House property of the Waterborough Historical Society at the intersection of Route 5 and Old Alfred Road, was a community effort, undertaken by a number of area businesses and individuals. The rink opened for skating Friday night. Information about opening and closings can be found on Facebook at Carle’s Corner Ice Rink.
