GREENE (AP) — Police say a Green man is recovering from injuries after being pinned under a tractor for two hours in 15-degree weather.

Authorities say 42-year-old Kenneth Bragdon was using his tractor to clear trees from his property on Saturday when one tree he was dragging became snagged and the tractor overturned.

Bragdon was pinned beneath the tractor for two hours until he was able to use his cellphone to reach a family member.

The family member called emergency personnel, who freed Bragdon.

He was flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with internal injuries.

Police determined the chain Bragdon was using was attached too high on the rear of the tractor, which caused it to flip.
