BATH — The Morse High School jayvee boys basketball team fell to both Oceanside and Winslow in recent action. Against Oceanside, the Shipbuilders struggled to catch the Mariners as the scoreboard read 59-38 at the final buzzer. Connor Upham led the way for Morse with 10 points, with Josh Latrill dropping 12 points for Oceanside.
In Friday’s game against Winslow, Damon Osmond and Tait Nygaard totaled 15 and 12 points respectively, but a 22- 9 first quarter advantage for the Black Raiders halted the Shipbuilders chance at a victory, capturing a 64-38 contest. The Black Raiders also led 32-19 and 49-28 at the second and third quarter breaks.
