BATH — A good turnout came out for the annual Bath Elk’s “Hoop Shoot” at the Bath Area Family YMCA on Jan. 4.
In the 8-9 age group, Olivia Cunningham took first in the girls, with Aqil Alaboudi winning the boys competition.
Dakota Shipley (girls) and Brogan Shaw (boys) captured the 10-11 age division, while Vanessa St. Pierre won the 12- 13 girls and the Wade Bradford the 12-13 boys.
On Sunday in Regional competition at Old Orchard Beach, Alaboudi was the top Bath finisher, taking third.
Volunteers in Bath were Chris Wallace, Brian Champagne,
Mike Stinson, Walt Crocker, Tim Lee, Harold Loveitt, Donna Merrill, Dave Merrill, Tommy Brennan, Dave Dodge, and Tyreik Foster.
