BATH — Charlotte Dillman Allen, 65, of Oak Street, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at her residence.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, on July 24, 1949, a daughter of James W. and Muriel G. (Mains) Allen.
She graduated from North Reading High School in MA and cum laude from Boston University with her bachelor’s degree in social work. She was employed at Children’s Hospital in Boston. She moved to Bath and worked with children and their families at several public schools in Bath for 30 years before retiring in 2009.
She enjoyed her family, her many friends, her pets and rooting for the Boston Red Sox. Her excellent memory of events and dates will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother, C. David Allen of Georgetown, MA, two nephews, Christopher AhnAllen and Jonathan Allen, one niece, Sarah McGoldrick and three great nephews, Noah AhnAllen, Jacob AhnAllen and Jack McGoldrick.
Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Burial will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA, at a later date. Condolences may be made online at www.Daiglefuneralhome.com.
