BIDDEFORD — Julienne (Fecteau) Sylvain, 83, of Baker Brook, New Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at a Baker Brook care facility.
She was born on May 20, 1931 in Quebec, and lived in Clair, New Brunswick for 30 years.
She was the daughter of Josephat Fecteau and Elzire Roux.
She was a seamstress, a great cook and an awesome mother. She also loved gardening. She will be dearly missed.
She was the wife of the late Raoul Sylvain.
She is preceded in death by: her daughter, Hermence; granddaughter, Cathy-Jo; her husband, Raoul; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by: her children, Ginette Avery of Old Orchard Beach, Jean-Guy (Colette) of Saco, Odette Dubé (Lucien) of South Carolina, Collette Lemay of Florida, Norman Terry of Biddeford, Reno (Lorie) of Bangor, Diane Charette and Mark of Madawaska, and Brenda Lemieux (Sylvain) of Fort Kent; her grandchildren, Kelly, Michelle, Marc, Robyn, Jenny, Cindy, Carrie, Jamie, Kenny, Jamey, Sonya and Dustin; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clément Fecteau (Francoise) of Biddeford; and a sister, Émilienne Ouellette (late Gilles) of Montreal, Quebec.
A funeral is planned for May 23, with the time to be announced, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Clair. No viewing is planned.
