WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Bates College women’s track and field team achieved its highest placement at the NESCAC Championships since 2010, claiming fourth place.
Host Williams College had 170 points for the title, followed by Tufts (148 points) and Middlebury (98).
Former Mt. Ararat High School standout Colby Gail was second in the hammer throw with a personal-best 144-11. Gail, the 2013 NESCAC high jump champion, placed sixth in the event after clearing 5-02.25.
