The Bath YMCA Gymnastics team had great results in the State Meet April 19-20 in both team and individual results.
The Excel Platinum Girls placed first in the state, Level 6 team placed second and Level 2 placed third.
In the Level 2, Junior B, Makenzie Beal placed third on beam with a 9.1.
In the Junior C division, Sarah Ouellette was named state champion on the beam 9.3. Teammates Macie Shiers and Susannah Williams tied for third place on the vault with a 9.2. Shiers placed fourth all-around with a 35.90.
In Senior A division, Aurora Jamison placed second on floor (9.175) and third on bars (8.9). Jamison placed third all-around in the state with a 36.125. In Senior B competition, Hannah Baker is the new all-around state champion with a 37.275. Baker placed first on both beam (9.4) and bars (9.375). Teammate Michaela Anderson earned second on vault with a 9.15, and was fifth all-around with a 36.30.

In the Junior B Division of Level 4, Elizabeth Bingham placed fifth on both vault (8.2) and bars (8.875). Bingham was fifth all-around with a 34.125. Teammate Grace Delano earned seventh place on both the beam (8.575) and bars (8.125).
In the Junior C competition, Alamea McCarthy earned fifth place on vault (7.8) and was sixth on bars (8.1).
In the Senior A division, Julianne Salko earned sixth place on vault (8.25) and ninth on floor (8.125). Kallie Maney earned seventh on bars (8.15) and eighth on beam (8.7). In the Senior B division, Anna Yankee earned seventh place on both floor (8.05) and bars (8.125).
In the Level 6 Older division, Molly Klein earned second place on beam with an 8.95. Klein was fourth allaround with a 32.55. Teammate Rachel Poulton earned second place on floor with an 8.725, and was fifth in the allaround (30.525).
In the Younger Division, Audrey Crews earned fourth on vault (8.475) and floor (8.4). Crews was fourth allaround with a 32.025.
In the Excel Silver Senior A division, Tori Hersey earned fifth place on bars (8.575) and was sixth on vault (8.65). In Senior B competition Rachel Ouellette earned second place on beam (9.45) and third on floor (9.075). Ouellette was fourth all-around with a 36.3. Jenny Bakewell earned second place on bars (9.3) and seventh on beam (8.95). Tatiana Scott earned fifth place on vault (8.8) and was sixth on floor (8.65). Teammate Charlotte Carter earned sixth place on beam with a 9.0, and was seventh on floor (8.25).
In Excel Gold Junior B competition, Hannah Goodman earned fifth place on vault with an 8.6, and was eighth on bars (8.275).
In the Senior A division, Atti Shepherd earned seventh on bars (8.5) and ninth on vault (7.8). Teammate Kaley West earned eighth on floor (8.125) and ninth on bars (8.275). In the Senior B division, Gabriella Taylor earned third place on both vault (9.0) and bars (9.125). Carly Lister earned fifth place on vault (8.65) and was sixth on beam (8.7).
In Excel Platinum competition, Lilia Hayford was named state champion on both vault (9.075) and bars (9.55). Hayford earned place all-around with a 35.275. Kayla Soucy earned second place on both beam (8.65) and vault (8.85). Soucy was third all-around with a 35.1. Havi Ellers earned third place on bars with a 9.325 and was fourth on floor (8.975). Ellers earned fourth place all with a 35.1. Teammates Maya Kosak and Marisabel Rodriguez tied for fifth place on bars with an 8.5. Kosak placed sixth on vault (8.55). Rodriguez placed seventh on floor (8.45).
Qualifying gymnasts from the Bath YMCA will next compete in the regional competition in May.
