BATH — BIW came up with a win after a close game against Montsweag Road House, 9-8.
Thomas Guild pitched for BIW, striking out five, while teammate Wyatt Wallace also appeared on the mound, striking out eight more. Colby Dolan and Guild did the duties behind the plate. Kiernan Mann was strong in the batters box, collecting three hits on the day, while Wallace followed with two. Lucas Quimby and Alister Dowdy each added a hit for BIW.
Aiden Wyman started on the mound for Montsweag and struck out six batters. Jonah Smith then took over part way through the game to deal another seven outs by way of the K. Brandon Andrews and Andrew Card shared time behind the dish. Thomas MacMahon added a hit for Montsweag.
