CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The University of Southern Maine women’s outdoor track and field team set two school records and equaled a third en route to a seventh-place finish at the New England Division III Championships held Friday and Saturday at MIT.
The Huskies scored 36 points to place seventh among the 31 teams that scored in the meet.
Inthe4x100relay,theUSMteamof Nicole Kirk, sophomore Liz O’Neal of Brunswick, Deonna DaSilva and Peyton Dostie took sixth in a school record-tying time of 48.73.
USM heads to the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Open New England Championships this upcoming Friday and Saturday at Boston University.
