BANGOR (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a Maine man was sentenced to seven years in prison for robbing one pharmacy and attempting to rob another.

In addition to the prison time, U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock Jr. on Wednesday also sentenced 22-year-old Dominic Pomerleau of Sidney to three years of supervised release after he completes his prison sentence.

Court records show Pomerleau demanded oxycodone and Ritalin from a Rite Aid in Augusta in September 2014, but fled when a phone rang. He then stole three bottles of oxycodone from another Rite Aid in Augusta about 20 minutes later. Video surveillance caught both of the incidents.
