FREEPORT — Hilary Rose Maines, 30, who was a lifelong resident of Freeport, passed away unexpectedly at her home in April of 2015. She was born in Brunswick, Maine, the daughter of Geneva (Seekins) and Danny Maines. Hilary attended Freeport High School and graduated from Eastern Maine Community College with a degree in culinary arts.

Hilary was most recently employed at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine. She enjoyed spending time with her son and loved taking him camping. Hilary was a friend, an aunt, a sister, a daughter and a mother.

She is survived by her parents, sister Crystal

Maines) Ivers, brothers Danny Maines II and William Maines, and her kind and wonderful son Ezekial Maines. Hilary is also survived by many aunts, uncles and most of all her great-grandmother Hazel Seekins.

A celebration of Hilary’s life will be on June 6, 2015, at 1 p.m. It will be held at Thunder Road in Freeport, 9 Maine. Please bring a dish.
