TOPSHAM — Jane Ferguson Collins, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Mid Coast Senior Center. She was born in Hanover, New Hampshire, on Oct. 13, 1923, to John Livingston Ferguson and Ola Hosking Ferguson and grew up in St. Albans, Vermont, attending local schools and Simmons College.
In 1949, she married Charles J. Collins of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who predeceased her.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth C. Lakeman and son C. Stephen Collins, six grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Glasgow of Griffin, Georgia, and a brother, J. Alan Ferguson of Ormond Beach, Florida.
