TOPSHAM — The Highland Green American Legion baseball team is gearing up for the start of the season, which begins on June 20.
The first full-blown practice will be on Sunday at 6 p.m. on Kingdon Field.
Players from School Administration District 75 communities along with the town of Richmond are eligible to play on the team. Athletes born on or after January 1, 1996 are eligible.
This year, American Legion Zone III consists of 12 teams, with Smith-Tobey Post 21 of Bath, Gardiner, Augusta, Brunswick, Pastime Club of Lewiston, Bethel, Bessey Motors of Oxford Hills, Poland, Andy Valley of Turner, Farmington and Rogers Post of New Auburn the others members of zone.
