Atria Senior Living in Kennebunk recently hosted a nurse appreciation event for both the community and outside professionals. Senior Executive Director Jan Peterson presented each nurse with a gift to thank them for their service. Pianist, Dave Hollis helped to add to the occasion with an enthusiastic array of melodies. Chef Michael Drouin designed and prepared a chocolate vanilla cheese cake filled with a lemon raspberry sauce for the event. Nurses honored were Resident Services Director Kathy Viger, Life Guidance Director Susan Bertin, and wellness nurses June Gilpatric, Barbara Townsend, Kathy Son and Linda Haberern. Residents honored for their years of nursing were Terry Chart, Marjorie Brown and Lucy McDonald.
