I wonder if the Republican presidential candidates will ever grow up and see the world as it really is. Global warming and destruction of the environment by human intention and carelessness is real. As a group they all dismiss Pope Francis’s encyclic on climate change.

Wake up guys. Pope Francis is a learned man, with more experience and compassion for the world and the poor and the environment that ALL of the Republican candidates put together. He’s not trying to get nominated. He’s not trying to get elected. He doesn’t have to pander to many different groups to bloat his PACs with disgusting amounts of money. He’s speaking from his heart and many many years of experience. All of the Republican presidential candidates remind me of ostriches with their heads in sand. I suppose that with enough money they can sway any scientist to parrot the party line. Try listening to someone you haven’t bought for a change.
