MANSFIELD, Texas — Stephen “Steve” R. Hughes, 57, formerly of Augusta, Maine, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, following a courageous battle against Younger Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 16, at Knowton & Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta, Maine. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Committal with military honors will take place at noon at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
