THE MAINE HIGHLAND GAMES and Scottish Festival returns 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Topsham Fairgrounds. The festival will feature mass pipe bands, Scottish country dance demonstrations, the Parade of Tartans, harp concerts, athletic competitions, piping, drumming competitions, sheep dog demonstrations and a clan history tent among other entertainment. Also featured will be Scottish food and beverages. Among musicians performing is headlining act Albannach. This is the Scots-Gaelic band’s only U.S. stop on a worldwide tour. Admission is $20 per adult and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under 5 can enter for free. On Friday, there will be a free Clan Gathering Celidh from 6:30 p. m. - 9 p. m. with food and music.
