
He attended schools in Topsham and Brunswick. He worked most of his life as a mechanic. Rick enjoyed going fishing with his friends and family, and watching the Red Sox play.
Rick is survived by his daughter Richelle Ramsey of Lewiston and grandson Camryn Currier of Lewiston; two half-brothers Bruce Ramsey of Lewiston and Keith Ramsey of Topsham; stepbrother Steven Bodge of Bar Harbor; half-sister Bonnie Ramsey of Florida; sister Jennifer Tomeleski of Florida; several step brothers and sisters; step-parents
Sandra and Michael Bodge of Flordia; two aunts, Shirley Garvin of Florida and Marie Lafontaine of Chesterville, ME; seven nieces and four nephews; close friends Becky and Kevin of Florida and Rose Mailhot, who was there for him in the end.
He is also survived by his best friend and companion, his dog
Foxy.
He was predeceased by his father Richard Sr., his brothers Randy Ramsey Sr. and Dennis Ramsey, and paternal grandmother Annie Curit.
A memorial visitation will be held at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St., Lewiston, Maine, on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow immediately at 4.
