IRVING, Texas — Dez Bryant’s status will be evaluated all week as the Dallas Cowboys decide whether the star receiver can return six weeks after breaking his right foot in the season opener.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said there was no “set line of demarcation on this or anything.”

The Cowboys, who play the Giants on Sunday, have lost three straight games without quarterback Tony Romo and Bryant.

SEAHAWKS: Seattle activated fullback Derrick Coleman following his suspension after a car crash that led to his arrest and re-signed center Lemuel Jeanpierre.

JETS: New York promoted wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins to the active roster from the practice squad.

Thompkins, signed by the Jets on Oct. 5, joins the active roster in time to face his former team when New York plays at New England on Sunday.

Thompkins was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati in 2013 and caught 32 passes for 466 yards and four touchdowns.

GIANTS: Tight end Daniel Fells has been released from a hospital after being treated for nearly three weeks for MRSA.

The team said Fells left Hackensack University Medical Center, where he has been treated since Oct. 2. Fells was diagnosed with the antibiotic-resistant bacteria when an ankle injury became infected.

STEELERS: Coach Mike Tomlin would not commit to Ben Roethlisberger returning from a three-game absence and playing Sunday in Kansas City. Tomlin said he will go on the assumption that Landry Jones will be the starting quarterback because “he is the one who is healthy.”

BILLS: Buffalo placed receiver Marquise Goodwin on the season-ending reserved-injured list and signed offensive tackle Jordan Mills.

The Bills (3-3) are scrambling to address problems in a banged-up roster.

FALCONS: Atlanta signed linebacker Philip Wheeler and released safety Charles Godfrey.

In 2014, Wheeler started four of 15 games with the Dolphins. He had 164 total tackles the last two years with Miami.

BROWNS: Cleveland waived running back Shaun Draughn, who became expendable when Robert Turbin returned from an ankle injury.
