I never thought I’d want to move. I like Windham a lot, but lately I’ve been thinking about how it would be to live in Lane Hiltunen’s Utopian society. You know the one, where no one pays taxes. Services such as fire, rescue, police and public works are all delivered efficiently at no cost. In addition, all elected and appointed officials think and do exactly as you want them to regardless of how the majority thinks. I don’t know where this place is, but as soon as I find it my house will be on the market.
Back in the real world, if Lane were to get involved in town government then maybe he could be part of the solution and not the problem. Probably not going to happen. Lane hopes the future is in the pasture. That should suit him fine given the amount of verbal manure he generates.
