Trying to find an appropriate Christmas gift for that hard-to-buy-for person can be a struggle. Each year it’s the same frustrating experience searching for something …anything for that person. Well, my friend, Liz Wisecup has come up with the solution that will save the day for all of us whether it’s Christmas, birthdays or any other gift-giving occasion. Her idea is so good I want to share it with your readers.

The great gift of which she speaks is a carbon monoxide detector! They are inexpensive, easy to find, appropriate for male or female and most importantly could very well save lives. What better gift could you give than the gift of life.

Carbon monoxide is a silent killer that has no odor, no taste and cannot be visually detected. Unsuspecting individuals can be overcome with no warning unless they have a CO detector.

Maine has a new law that I proudly sponsored that requires CO detectors to be installed in a variety of housing areas like new homes, additions to existing homes, bed-and-breakfast locations, child care centers, colleges and many more buildings where people live and congregate. Existing homes are exempt from the law only because there weren’t enough votes to get that part of my bill passed.

This perfect gift fits all sizes, genders and ages and sends the personal message that you care.

Well done, Liz!
