The local team officiated under the leadership of Gerald Hevey, aerie secretary and president of the degree team.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “After killing his wife, and shooting Arthur and Leslie Simonds, the latter of whom is said to have been fatally injured, George Gove, this afternoon, turned the gun upon himself, the shot killing him instantly. Jealousy is said to have been the cause of the killing.”
