AUBURN ( AP) — A 21- year-old Lewiston man will serve four years behind bars after admitting to charges stemming from two incidents on the same October 2014 night for the second time in four months.
The Sun Journal reports that Albert Crowley pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony threatening with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault in Androscoggin Superior Court.
Crowley pleaded guilty to those offenses and another charge in a September 2015 plea deal. After entering the pleas, he was asked to withdraw them when the U.S. Attorney’s Office was considering bringing federal charges.
When federal prosecutors “bowed out,” Crowley was asked to plead again and was sentenced by Justice MaryGay Kennedy.
Crowley was shot by officers after brandishing a gun following the Oct. 21, 2014 assault of his girlfriend in Lewiston.
