“We got a lot of good swimmers tonight, some of them that haven’t gone to states with us yet so that was good to see,” said Coulombe. “We had a lot of season bests which at this point in the season is really good. We have been ratcheting up the workouts while looking ahead.”

Coulombe has also been happy with his team’s progression throughout the season, especially when comparing where the team was this time last year.

“We are already ahead of where we finished last year which is awesome. They really put in the work with their club teams in preparation for this season,” said Coulombe. “They came in ready to go and that’s exciting to see.”

As the season continues, the Rams’ sights are on the final meets of the season, and according to Coulombe, there is still work to be done.

“We need to keep putting the pedal to the floor while we are gearing up for the two championship meets at the end of the year,” said Coulombe. “The work is not done, we need to keep working hard and we have to clean things up while we get closer to those two meets.”
