KITTERY — The Kennebunk boys basketball team used a 28-6 second quarter run to pull away for a 74-45 win over host Traip Academy on Thursday night.
The Rams (6-3) had a balanced scoring attack led by freshman Cam Lovejoy with 14 points, including three 3-pointers, and Zach MacKinnon and Travon Bradford with 13 points each.
MacKinnon set a school record in the win as the standout hit one long-range shot, which put him on top of Kennebunk’s list for career 3-pointers made.
OOB 68, A.R. Gould 53
The visiting Seagulls jumped out to a 21-11 first quarter lead and never looked back as they improved to 6-3 on the year.
Evan Christensen led the way for OOB with 24 points. Ian Regan added 21 points and Zach Hirst chipped in with 15 points in the win.
Tyrese Collins led A.R. Gould with 32 points.
Kenneb unk 34, Tra ip Academy 33
The Kennebunk girls basketball team beat Traip Academy 34-33 thanks to late free throws from Marran Oakman.
Gabby Fogg led the Rams with 9 points while Oakman and Madison Lux added 10 rebounds.
