PORTLAND — The Somerset Street “silver bullet” containers used for collecting recyclable materials are in new locations.

The containers were moved to make way for construction of the mixed-use development known as the “Midtown” project.

They can now be found on West Commercial Street at “Angelo’s Acre,” across from the International Marine Terminal, and at the Riverside Recycling Facility at 910 Riverside St.

Collection hours are 6 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily at the West Commercial Street site, and 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Riverside Recycling.
