BRUNSWICK — Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Steve Levesque will be the guest speaker at this month’s Town Matters Community Forum at Thornton Oaks Retirement Community on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.
Levesquee will discuss new developments taking place at Brunswick Landing, the former Naval Air Station. MRRA’s mission is to implement the Reuse Master Plans for the Naval Air Station in Brunswick and the Topsham Annex, manage the transition of base properties from military to civilian uses, redevelop base properties, and create new high- quality jobs for Maine.
Topics to be discussed include an update on the base redevelopment process, and an introduction of businesses that have made Brunswick Landing home. The event includes a question and answer session.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
