BRUNSWICK — Police are investigating an apparent drug overdose reported on Swett Street Thursday afternoon.

The medical emergency was reported at 4:20 p.m. Brunswick Police Cmdr. Mark Waltz said a 34-year-old male from Brunswick was administered and saved by Narcan, a medication used to reverse the effects of opioids, and transported to Mid Coast Hospital.

The incident is under investigation, Waltz said.
